Fantasies Five and Six---Flower Shop and Greenhouse

The fifth and sixth projects are a flower shop called Caroline’s Flowers and a greenhouse.  They started as a Greenleaf kit for the flower shop, which Maureen O’Donnell rebuilt with better quality materials to meet the requirements of the occupants, and a Lawbry greenhouse kit.  They are well landscaped on separate bases that fit together to make one scene.  The details include ladybugs on the sunflowers, and butterflies and a dragonfly on other flowers.  The couple who preside over this business are a black couple.  Ezekiel used to be the gardener at the Victorian house.  He expressed the desire for a wife, so I found Caroline for him, and they spent about ten years sitting in the Victorian gazebo, until they finally obtained the flower shop, with an apartment upstairs, and the greenhouse.  She runs the shop and he works in the greenhouse and yard.  Besides showing at the Museum Show in Denver, these projects have delighted guests at two garden tours.
