In 1998 I worked with fifth and sixth grade Girl Scouts in Nederland, Colorado, to create primitive miniature dollhouse furnishings from various free or inexpensive materials. Most of the girls did not have dollhouses, but were encouraged to use a bookshelf or cardboard boxes to make their rooms. The photos show the samples that I made as illustrations. Each girl made all the items shown. These were shown at the fall show of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys.
