Looking for a Home

All my miniature buildings and other projects are looking for a home!  Our mobile home is running out of space, and my husband is running out of patience!  I will not be able to finish the last twelve buildings unless I find a place for the first thirteen.  I would love to give them to a museum or other entity that has the space and desire to show them to the public on a permanent basis.  I do not feel that I have to make money from them myself, but I cannot afford to create my own museum.  I would like to find a location for them where I live in Solvang, California, or within 30 or so miles.  Perhaps a business might have an empty attic and a desire for an added attraction.  I would give my miniatures to someone who would show them to the public on a permanent basis.  I believe I could provide showcases for them, and I would like to be able to set the miniatures up and keep them repaired as long as I am able to do that.  I’m thinking of a “permanent loan” situation, whereby if the exhibitor could no longer show them, they would revert to me.  I would not want that to happen as it is extremely time consuming to move miniature buildings and their furnishings and I would have to find another place to put them, but I would not want someone to take them and then sell them.  At my death, they would become the property of whoever was showing them.
